Setup and Installation

Here are the steps to install and set up Twilio SMS MMS for Pipedrive.

Step 1: Install the Twilio SMS MMS app from the Pipedrive Marketplace.

Step 2: Authorize the Twilio service using your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token.

 - Go to https://www.twilio.com/login and log in.
  - Your Account SID and Auth Token will be displayed on the dashboard.
  - Copy your Account SID and Auth Token and use them to authenticate the     Twilio service.

Step 3: Once authorized, the SMS-enabled Twilio numbers will be listed on the “Add Phone” page. Add Twilio numbers with descriptive friendly names.

Step 4: Go to the Pipedrive page and access “Contacts” in the sidebar.

Step 5: In the Contact detail view, the Send SMS panel will be pre-filled with the From and To numbers.

Step 6: You can either type the SMS message manually or choose a template to automatically merge fields and send personalized messages.

Step 7: All incoming and outgoing messages related to a specific contact can be tracked within the Notes section.

Templates

Templated SMS  is a valuable feature for CRM products, as it enables businesses to send personalized messages to a large number of recipients.  Extension enables option to save unlimited templates with mail merge fields and friendly names for sending personalized messages.

How to Add Templates?

Step 1 : Click on the three dots -> Settings in the top right corner of the Send SMS panel. In left panel click on Templates.
  
Step 2 : Click on “Add Template” to add Templates with descriptive friendly names. Add templates with Pipedrive module fields.

Step 3 : Added templates will be listed under Send SMS and Send Bulk SMS page.

SMS Campaign

Step 1: Access the Pipedrive platform and navigate to the People/Deals section.

Step 2: Select the contacts or deals that you want to include in the SMS campaign.

Step 3: Locate the “Launch SMS Campaign” option within the People/Deals menu.

Step 4: Enter the desired text message content in the message body for the campaign.

Step 5: If needed, attach any multimedia content, such as images or videos.

Step 6: Click the “Send” button to initiate the SMS campaign and deliver the messages to the selected contacts or deals.

Step 7: To review the campaign’s performance and track its progress, click on “View Report” or check the campaign history within Pipedrive.
